PIERO MANZONI

Today we went to the galleries in Chelsea for some inspiration.  Of the 
galleries, the Piero Manzoni Retrospective at the Gagosian was the most 
compelling.  I was familiar with his work through books but was never 
supremely interested.  It's the kind of art you need to see in person.  It is 
extremely subtle in its beauty.

My friends Tony & Anna were married on the island of Gotland in Sweden.
It took place at this beautiful old church by the ocean called Bro.

I could not stop thinking about these earrings the night after the Oscars. 
I kept waiting for the camera to pan across Angelina Jolie so I could see
them again.  Something else worth mentioning was Tilda Swinton's Lanvin
ensemble.  She looked amazing.

I was looking for props for my presentation this weekend and found this amazing
store on 9th Street & Avenue A called Upper Rust.  It was filled with amazing finds...
furniture, jewelry, hairpins, boxes, jars... everything old and beautiful.  Here's one
of my favorites.
