I spotted these beautiful water glasses while at dinner at Blaue Gans on Friday night. 
I was surprised to see such a delicate glass at a restaurant.

On Sunday I went to the much anticipated (well, at least I was anticipating it) Frieze Art 
Fair. The atmosphere was refreshing. Among the many pluses of the day.. the way they 
brought in the natural light from the structure's translucent ceiling made a big difference. 
They did a good job on the food too. Definitely going back next year.

I have found a few different kinds of masks from Charles and Ray Eames.  Some of 
their masks are more complex, these are the simplest that I have found.  I like them 
all, but these are my favorites. There is something nice about the flatness, it looks like

According to Feng Shui, I needed more fire energy. I have too much water and wood. 
To balance this, I should wear more red.  I don't really wear red so my idea was 
maybe a ring?  I found this incy wincy garnet ring at Ted Muehling by Gabriella Kiss. 
Im also going to make a dozen dark pink panties.  That should give me good fire.

Sometimes I like the things around me to be asymmetrical. I never think about 
earrings, but this combination is nice. If you think about them like bedside tables...

I think the proportions of this couch are so interesting.  The height of the back and the 
arm in comparison to  the shallow seat.. and the legs are the most amazing.  I can't 
tell if I would like it or not but definitely intriguing.  Circa 1950

Collage of cut paper might be my favorite kind of art to create.  Saul Steinberg is best 
known for his illustrations for The New Yorker, however I am much more drawn to this 
paper cutout collage with pen and tape.

Last weekend my boys and I went to my parents house.. For lack of many toys and 
things to do, we usually make art.  We ran out of paper- so the boys took their  old art 
and made collages out of them. They look like cars and trucks to me, however I was 
corrected. The big ones that look like trucks are actually motorcylces... the others are 
in fact cars.
