Typically I am not a fan of Slag glass, but I thought these were especially nice.
I spotted these beautiful water glasses while at dinner at Blaue Gans on Friday night.
I was surprised to see such a delicate glass at a restaurant.

I thought Stella McCartney was perfection all the way down to her pointy white soled
shoes.

On Sunday I went to the much anticipated (well, at least I was anticipating it) Frieze Art
Fair. The atmosphere was refreshing. Among the many pluses of the day.. the way they
brought in the natural light from the structure's translucent ceiling made a big difference.
They did a good job on the food too. Definitely going back next year.
I have found a few different kinds of masks from Charles and Ray Eames. Some of
their masks are more complex, these are the simplest that I have found. I like them
all, but these are my favorites. There is something nice about the flatness, it looks like
cut paper collage
According to Feng Shui, I needed more fire energy. I have too much water and wood.
To balance this, I should wear more red. I don't really wear red so my idea was
maybe a ring? I found this incy wincy garnet ring at Ted Muehling by Gabriella Kiss.
Im also going to make a dozen dark pink panties. That should give me good fire.
Sometimes I like the things around me to be asymmetrical. I never think about
earrings, but this combination is nice. If you think about them like bedside tables...

I think the proportions of this couch are so interesting. The height of the back and the
arm in comparison to the shallow seat.. and the legs are the most amazing. I can't
tell if I would like it or not but definitely intriguing. Circa 1950
I just gave up soda and now they do this...

Collage of cut paper might be my favorite kind of art to create. Saul Steinberg is best
known for his illustrations for The New Yorker, however I am much more drawn to this
paper cutout collage with pen and tape.
I can't imagine where in Disney this must be. Maybe behind the scenes? So dreamy...

I had never looked at this symbol as something that started off as a simple beautiful

Last weekend my boys and I went to my parents house.. For lack of many toys and
things to do, we usually make art. We ran out of paper- so the boys took their old art
and made collages out of them. They look like cars and trucks to me, however I was
corrected. The big ones that look like trucks are actually motorcylces... the others are
in fact cars.

Not so much of a flower girl.. lately I have had a thing for flowers/ flower patterns. It's
nice how the light comes through the translucent petals and gives the outline. Spread
from Takashi Homma's book Nursery.
I usually prefer to wear a classic horizontal stripe but I like this messy interpretation..
The black/white and navy/white color combination is another interesting detail.

This silhouette is amazing. I love how delicate the top is in comparison
to the chunky bottom, and the two tone color combination is perfect and
interesting. This color will most likely look awful on me, but I'm hoping
Barneys carries this shoe and in a different color.
